Express clearance
FREJA has been participating in an Express clearance pilot project since the beginning of 2020, and as one of the first, we have daily trucks passing the border between Sweden and Norway using Express clearance. With Express clearance, Norwegian Customs are able to process and conduct risk assessments before the vehicle with goods arrive at the border. This means that the vehicles can cross the border without having to stop and report to customs, as the goods are released automatically by the border through ANPR camera technology (Automatic Number Plate Recognition).
