Information regarding price and contract changes from 01.12.22

We are experiencing a very untypical situation, with abnormally large cost increases, such as the energy crisis in Europe, increased interest rates and high inflation, which are only some of the factors. In Norway, the costs of road transport, amongst others, have increased by 17.1% since last autumn according to SSB (Statistics Norway).

There is still a major shortage of drivers in both Norway and Europe. At the same time, access to transport equipment is unpredictable. FREJA continues with countermeasures to reduce costs and the ongoing pressure on capacity.

Sea and rail freight is used to a greater extent to relieve truck- and driver-needs in Europe. We have also invested in even more trucks, as well as 60 new trailers, which will be delivered in a few weeks. Our storage capacity has also been expanded by 8,000 square meters.

The effort to reduce cost pressure in the market and ensure better capacity, however, means that we see ourselves forced to adjust the prices as mentioned below. At the same time our capacity surcharge will be reduced, and the cost compensation linked to the EU mobility package will be adjusted.

Our prices will be adjusted with the following rates with effect from 01.12.2022:

    International road freight + 7,5 %
    Domestic freight + 7,5 %
    Forwarding services & warehouse handling + 7,5 %
    Warehouse rent + 7,5 %
Air/sea freight will be regulated in line with the market

Individual adjustments may also become necessary.

We refer to our current general terms and conditions, that constitutes a part of all our agreements. These can be sent upon request.
