FREJA Group is a 100% privately owned Nordic company with strategically well-placed branches in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and China. Our primary services are dedicated transport- and logistics solutions. In the beginning of 2017, FREJA employs approx. 600 people in the Nordic countries and 5 in China.

FREJA attach great importance to social responsibility and it is an integrated part of the way we run our business. This means that responsibility and orderliness are keywords in our business development and branding. Specifically, this means that with a responsible business behaviour FREJA has focus on the workplace and the society and daily tries to reduce the environmental influences. FREJA focuses on long-term and mutual relations with customers, supplies and partners.

In FREJA, we have committed ourselves to secure sustainability, high business morals and ethics as well as full integrity. We make sure that existing laws will be kept at any time. FREJA has worked out a “Code of Conduct for Suppliers to FREJA” which describes what FREJA considers good business moral and ethics for all sub suppliers who carry out transports for FREJA.

In order to further systematise and visualise our CSR efforts, we have in spring 2017 approved UN’s Global Compact. In 2018 FREJA will publish our first development report, which will fulfil the Danish legal requirements on CSR-statement in the annual report.

Human Rights

FREJA makes active efforts to have the organisation reflect equal treatment and an inclusive culture. Therefore, we work actively on diversity in respect of sex, age, ethnicity, handicap, sexual orientation, faith and religion. Regardless of potential, nationality and status everyone must be treated professionally and with respect of individual needs and wishes.

Labour rights

  1. FREJA upholds the freedom of association and recognises effectively the right to collective bargaining
  2. FREJA supports the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour
  3. FREJA supports the efforts to abolish child labour
  4. FREJA eliminates discrimination in respect of employment and occupation

The attitudes of the FREJA employees constitute the core values of both the internal and the external cooperation in the company. In addition to the staff policy, which regulates the conditions of employment, FREJA has policies, which focus on the healthy work life. Company healthcare schemes are implemented – partly to prevent absenteeism and to reduce unavoidable absenteeism - partly to sustain a healthy welfare environment in the workplace.

In order to secure the necessary knowledge resources, FREJA has a HR strategy, which supports this. We conduct internal training and motivate employees to continue their education. FREJA has clear growth goals. Therefore, it is vital to be able to attract and maintain the best-qualified knowledge resources in the market.

FREJA continuously works on reducing the number of occupational injuries and absence due to sickness.

The Board of Directors and Management base their work on having the organisation represent various qualifications, age groups and sex and not to be discriminatory.

The Group has no female representatives in the Board of Directors. FREJA has continuous focus on this issue and in future replacements of Board members or expansion of the Board we will work actively to include women with the proper qualities and qualifications. The aim is to have at least one female member in the Board of Directors within the end of 2019.

FREJA Transport & Logistics in Denmark and Sweden are certified according to DS/EN ISO 14001:2015 and 9001:2015.

We work continuously to minimize the damaging environmental influences by reducing empty trailer transport and optimising payload percentages on all transport units.

FREJA requires associated sub-suppliers to provide EURO 4 trucks as a minimum. The environmental certification system increases the awareness of suppliers, employees and customers as regards the value of complying with the outlined plans.

The implementation of IT solutions reduces the use of paper inside the company and between the company and our collaborators.

We continuously focus on reducing our total energy consumption.

FREJA has a management system that ensures registration and follow-up on quality and environmental focus areas and deviations with the purpose of remedying these. Furthermore, the management system ensures that we constantly develop in a positive direction. FREJA has obtained positive improvements in a wide range of areas.

FREJA is AEO certified (Authorized Economic Operator) in the EU. AEO is a customs related certification with focus on economy, customs and security.

In FREJA we have committed ourselves to secure sustainability, high business moral and ethics as well as full integrity. We know there are different business cultures around the world. Therefore, we must be able to handle both national and international sets of rules. We have defined ethical regulations for our employees. No employee must receive bribery in any form such as presents, loans or fees.

All employees must respect FREJA's employee policies and working environment legislation as well as our Code of Conduct.

We trust that our sub-suppliers who carry out transports for us will follow the requirements in the "Code of Conduct for Suppliers to FREJA", which precisely defines what we consider to be good business moral and ethics.
