Testemonial - trainee in FREJA

My name is Anna Kremenchugskaja. I am 25 years old and trainee with FREJA in Taastrup.

The reason why I chose FREJA for my traineeship was that I had heard a lot of good things about FREJA – and I know now that FREJA is the right place for me to be trainee. When I came to the office the first day I found a bouquet of flowers on my desk as well as a booklet containing a lot of information about FREJA. I was introduced to all the colleagues in my department and was invited to breakfast together with other new trainees and managers. All in all it was a fine day, everybody was friendly and nice.

As trainee in FREJA you are involved in a lot of activities. I think it is nice that I learn about the different aspects of the transport business and that I have a responsibility.

In the beginning I thought it was difficult to remember all the new things I had to learn. But now I think I have come into a routine, where I don’t always have to ask my colleagues about things to do. Now I have my own responsibilities and I always know which assignments to handle.

I am glad I chose to train as a dispatcher. The business is interesting. You never know that the day will bring – and the days are never the same. For me it is an advantage that my mother language is Russian as we have a lot of contacts in my department with Eastern European countries.

My name is Daniel Michalik. I am 21 years old and trainee with FREJA in Aarhus.

The first time I heard about FREJA was at business school. I found an article about FREJA Transport & Logistics and started to read it. I looked at FREJAs web-page and I applied for a position as trainee. After three weeks and two interviews I was engaged by FREJA. The first day in FREJA I was offered a welcome including breakfast, flowers, a tour of the building and a presentation to my new colleagues.

Now that I have been taught how the system works and I have become familiar with the procedures in my department I am surprised. The days are never the same. There are lots of different assignments and you never know when the next challenge comes up.

When I went to my interview for the position as trainee I was told that FREJA had an objective of becoming “The best workplace in Denmark 2010” and I thought to myself that was an objective I would like to be part of. I feel I do something for FREJA and FREJA does something for me.

In the beginning everything is difficult, but as time goes by and the more you learn being a dispatcher is an interesting job. I had not expected to be able to use my language skills as much as I do, and I had not expected that much contact with customers – both have been positive surprises. I have found the job of my dreams.
