Minimum impact on the environment
At FREJA we work with our partners to actively reduce the impact our operations have on the environment – and we have set specific goals. We want to:
- Reduce our total relative emission discharges from traffic (measured by tonnage) by 1 % each year
- Reduce our total energy consumption (electricity, heating, and fuel converted into kWh) on permanent installations by 2 % (related to number of shipments) and 3% per employee
- Reduce our yearly consumption of paper by 2% (related to number of shipments)
- Improve our payload percentage by 1.5% each year
- Reduce our dead freight by 1.5% each year
- Increase the amount of goods transported by rail and combined truck/ship by 10% each year
